Donald Takayama has been surfing, designing and manufacturing surfboards for over 55 years. He is a 5 time United States Surfing Champion and he competes for fun whenever his schedule permits. The sport of surfing has been his life. He dearly appreciates those who have believed in and enjoyed his work. He taught himself how to shape a surfboard out of necessity.
