• Jon Pyzel Jon Pyzel grew up in Santa Barbara, California and started surfing when he was 11 years old. In an area rich in surfing history and perfect right points, Jon was soon deep into it. After travels to Mainland Mex, Australia, and a bunch of trips to Hawaii, he relized that he wanted to amke a permanent move to the North Shore in 1992. Over the years, Jon's boards have been ridden by an impressive list of surfers: Ben Bourgeois, Dean Morrison, Shane Beschen, Timmy Reyes, Chris Ward, Matt Archibald, Mark Healy, and many others. Pyzel Surfboards has never gone far from it's roots. They build boards, they surf, and they are based on the North Shore because it has all the magic ingredients to make the best boards in the world.
