Is it a fish, is it an egg, is it a modern shortboard, who knows? All we can say is that this is an incredibly fun surfboard to ride in a huge spectrum of conditions. Designed by our friend and native San Diego craftsman Bob Mitsven, the RT/Q has great glide and is exceedingly pocket-friendly like an egg, yet maintains heaps of drive and a throttle-like speed on demand. Quads are fast, really fast, and this unassuming little egg can generate mind-blowing speed down the line, yet can carve much in the same way as a thruster. A board for the experienced and open-minded surfer, it excels in most conditions from shoulder high to a couple of feet overhead and in lengths of 6' to 7' 6".
